I think I busted my inverter relay when doing the fog light anytime mod. Anyone know what the part number is so I can see what this little oops is gonna cost me?

I'm not positive that it's busted but after doing the fog light mod my inveter isn't working. It may be that the relay isn't seated well since its sharing a slot with the extension on the fog light relay. Either that or it's busted lol. I'm just preparing for the worst. I'm gonna investigate further after the game.

 

I edited my post saying now you really can't return it .....it's probably not seated.. Undo the mod to check.. GL

 

I'm really liking the yellow fog bulbs I put in too. I should've done that sooner. Looking forward to seeing how they do in inclimant weather.

 

Were those bulbs hid or led??

 

Neither. Just went with yellow halogen. They really change the way the front of the truck looks compared to the stock white ones and they were cheap. Win, win.

So I took a look at halftime and the relay was fully seated and not working. So I popped the cover off the inverter relay to see if anything looked off. One of the coil wires had snapped off the pin. Resoldered it and now it works like new again

That's really how things had to happen you know. Couldn't have written a better script. Struggle with Osweiler so you have a good reason to bring back Manning. Win the game with Manning, now he can start in the playoffs.

Good deal, no, they were expensive, but they work so it is what it is.

I didn't feel like waiting for a potential group buy to be setup, then to be completed, then orders ship (aka April before I would expect to see them), and supposedly there is not much of a profit margin, so the discount was only going to be like $30, so not worth the savings to not have them for a few months when I'd be more likely to use them when alone... with the snow.

 

It really was the perfect story line, hopefully we can take care of business.

Now for the ticket scramble . . .
