Prepping for frame inspection

Any suggestions for dealership for the frame inspection/recall? Thinking mountain states Toyota or Stevenson toyota west.

I don't have any holes per say, but there was rust at the typical spot by the cat. I cleaned it off and primed/painted before th recall came out.

Also hopefully soon the leaf spring recall with go live.

 

Ya he looked at mine for the inspection he gave me a green light

 

If there are no holes, you might wait until close to the end of the recall/warranty extension. The recall will only cover a frame that has at least a 10mm perforation/hole. Denver region is very strict about this.

 

When is the end of the recall???and once your frame is inspected can you get it inspected a second time????

I have never looked at the customer side of the documentation. It could different then "cold climate states" so take what you read on the internets lightly.


Ok, I decided to read. In Colorado you are open for the ESD, a customer service policy. You get one inspection, that inspection needs to be completed before March 16, 2016. After that, you are on your own.

Toyota separates the technical instructions from the customer/dealer letter.................... I still would have just skimmed over that reading to get to the important goods, I'm only here for the pictures.
