Colorado B.S. Thread

Hey all. Just putting out some feelers on what everyone might think about an organized Toyota 4x4 "show" this year.

Not a 4 wheeling trip but think about all the spring and summer car shows.

I want to work on a 4x4 show. It'd be awesome to meet more of you, see your trucks, talk about modifications, 4 wheel trips etc.

Tossing some ideas around (when/where/sponsorships/prizes/booths/BBQ etc) and just wondering who might be interested in coming out, parking their truck for an afternoon and holding the first 4x4 show?

the toytec event this year had a massive show that your entrance fee into the car show went to Stay the Trail Colorado. They had prizes for the show and did a massive raffle for any in attendance. Great event to see a lot of rigs you usually don't get to see around town

 

I'd be in, it would be cool to meet the local TW people. Maybe even find new people to go explore trails with.

 

I'm working on that.

Was that the one just a month ago or so?? I missed it (celebrating the wifes birthday in Blackhawk that weekend) but was really wanting to participate. Would be great to do one or two of these events in the nicer months.

 

No one needs to come to the Toytec picnic unless you like nice raffle prizes

 

I like the idea...Sounds a bit like the Toytec fun time!!

 

I'm not big on shows, my truck is ugly, I look worse, large groups make me twitchy. Small M&G while a couple guys wrench is about all I'm good for.

 

That's where the beer comes in..... Every thing look Purdy with enough of that. (So I have been told)

Not knowing first hand how beer makes things purtier.

 

I honestly never have had beer that tastes good enough to keep drinking that much.

I'd love to be in for a CO TW meet and greet... but my life, schedule, work etc makes it very difficult to do so.

Maybe I could host something this summer in my backyard? Ribs, beer, music, plenty of space for kiddos to run around. Hmmmm
