Backyard today. Mom couldn't figure out why they stood there staring for about 20 minutes. They must be new to the area as they were fascinated by our little weather station that was spinning in the wind on our upper deck lol.

 

Is @Flboarder local? And ya, I saw some areas that looked nice but were roped off

 

Tried to go snowboarding today. Left the house at 6:30 and traffic was backed up half a mile down 470 to the I-70 exit. Worst I've ever seen! Turned back, now drinking bloody Mary's. We need to build a wall.

 

Or just live in the mountains in the first place

There's a Colorado 4x4 meetup group doing this on the 16th...anyone interested?

I'm assuming these are mostly paved roads but it's and excuse to burn some fossil fuel...

 

Possibly if it's passable in my Grand Cherokar DD

 

I'm local, only lived here 3 months but as far as I know all the trails are gated now. Snow is chest deep in most areas. Ask me how I know. (still getting used to riding a sled in pow haha)

Byers Canyon is pretty cool to drive through on 40. It's on the other side of Hot Sulfur. Definitely recommend taking a soak at the hot spring there if you have time.

Might have to give the springs a shot. And ya, there is a good amount of snow I'm sure. Found a nice hole on the hill.
