I use wheel bearing grease and coat the clip so it can't spin. Opening faces down and use a big rubber mallet

Thanks bud. Michelinman called me and told me to add grease to hold the clip. It worked great. I was able to pop them right in like that.

Uhaul trailers are fucking sketchy. I might end up making two trips tomorrow; going to re-load it tonight to better balance the weight but if it still sways a bit then I'll have to unload half of it and just make two trips.

I have towed a few of their trailers, 6x10, 5x10, and the utility one with a ramp. It aways seems like the tongue is pointed at the ground and you have about 2 inches of clearance. I have logged about 1000 miles with those three and have never had a problem. even 75mph for 4 hours.

Nope. That is the view from Bonanza. Too perfect. Started around -15 but the sun was intense. Our faces froze a few times, but it was fun none-the-less.

The snow was pretty much perfect between 930 and 230.

I refuse to act my age.

I repacked the trailer; it's a 6x10. I suspect it was a weight distribution problem that in my mind I had more weight in the front of the trailer but in reality didn't. I've fixed the weight distribution now but we'll see tomorrow when I leave. The trailer nose looks quite low now whereas before it seemed more level and a few inches higher.

They say that it loads 60-40 if you use the line they provide. I think it is more 70-30 to prevent lawsuits and such.

That's a better form of "Stupid Tax" than the power ball.

At least Sean will get the big lollipop with his tickets.

As long as I can do 60 with no sway I'll be happy; The rear of the taco is pretty low but I think it'll be fine. It's only for 130 miles or so.
I bought a ticket. I buy a ticket maybe 3x a year; It really is just tossing $2 away though.

I was going to say "take it back out and spit on it, it'll slide right in!" But further reading shows you got it.

It'll probably sway @60 but you if your packed that full you may be pushing it above 55 at times anyway. You should be fine. I survived 1700 miles across the country with a 6x10 packed to the gills towing on an unrated high clearance bumper and 7" drop hitch.

Yeah I have a side road route picked out if I need to get off the interstate but hopefully it'll work out. I'd be happy with 55 without sway. When the trailer was half loaded I was cruising at 65 on the straights without any issue. We'll see! I definitely would invest in a anti-sway system if I did this again.
