Finally got her a much needed face lift. Thanks to Scotty and the guys at Addicted.

 

Silly Comcast; trying to tell me that I can't activate my service because my modem (which I own) is too old. But was working fine six months ago at speeds faster then I ordered now. 10 minutes of asking the right questions and I have service.

 

I wish there was more competition for Internet in Colorado.

 

Ah, the ole DOCSIS 2.0 vs 3.0 run around... Gotta love it

 

It's a DOCSIS 3.0 SB6120; I signed up for 75mbps speeds but because the modem isn't in their dropdown menu when activating it causes issues; it's sibling

$76 SB6121 Cable Modem (SB6121)

SB6121 is on the list though. Asked a few questions, calmly asked to escalate to who can get the modem added. Placed on hold for 5 minutes and he got in touch with someone who got it done.

 

I wish there was more competition for Internet everywhere. I remember when Comcast came through and bought up all the small cable ISP's in Michigan back in the early 2000's. I tried Qwest when I moved out here but the service was even worse them Comcast. Oh well!

I'm looking to do my first keg when I do my first batch out here. I got rid of 12 cases of empties when I moved that I had spent countless hours de-labeling and sanitizing. It was painful.

Never again will I do 5 gallon batches in 12oz bottles.

 

We have charter down here. Customer service is excellent. Very happy with them. They are keeping the postal service in business with all the bills I get after going paperless billing though...

 

Who's done the ol' transmission drain and fill on a gen 2? I've got a suspicion that mine came a little low from the factory as many have reported. I'm comfortable with oil/diff/tc changes but have never messed with a tranny before . Is it pretty straightforward (as this thread suggests)?

Done it on two vehicles that way now. One had a dipstick. Used the torque app to get my trans temp on the Tacoma.
Very easy

 

I had charter when I lived in California and they were terrible.

 

I'm guessing you need an OBD transmitter to use that app?
Looks like entering trans check mode is easy enough, but I don't really like the idea of using a wire to trick the system.

 

Yes you need an obdII.

I used a jumper wire to recalibrate the yaw sensor. Shouldn't be a big deal for the trans temp.
