Hey guys, I am likely going to have to replace my engine here in the next month or so. I found a new one on CL that would be a good replacement and at a fraction of the cost shops have been quoting me. Any chance one of you guys are pretty savvy with simple engine swaps and has the means to do one? I would be happy to pay for the time. I feel pretty confident I could do it but space is limited at my place until summer (roommates) and I would be doing it alone.

My only other option is paying a shop to do it and that's no fun. There is no beer involved and I learn nothing from it.

Lol it was a free package I worked in when I got the wife's highlander. I can't be too picky.

I should have asked for a rear sway bar too :annoyed:

Hmmmm... my money is on that if he has to pull back on the clear bra at all (to re-align or pull out a bubble) it rips the vinyl and fucks up the whole thing. I would be leery of that.

Who needs a sway bar. Just racket strap your axle to the frame out back and you are set! :D

Better to ask what I have not done.
Depending on how good of quality vinyl @sean266 used it would probably break. The only luck would be if it was air releasable.

    From Jeff:

"Could be. I have zero experience with clear bra, but I know you can layer vinyl with no problem."

But in all realities @sean266 the vinyl IS your clear bra over the corner. Why double it up?

Hello peoples of Colorado. So I'm looking to take two weeks off late may/early june and take a long camping trip in your fine state. I want to get as far the hell out as possible (keeping it legal). Any tips for finding campsites? I'm used to Pennsyltucky and the fuck-all nature of how to find a site.
Looking to use an RTT and will be packing everything out when leaving, I'm not an idiot. Mild lift, skids, hopefully will have sliders by then.
