Still will be a lot of snow around then, especially given how much we have already gotten.

Moab, Utah (Rock Therapy) is where you want to be.

Good to know! We're set to drive out from PA on the 28th of may so that might be perfect actually...

You guys are getting snow? We've gotten less than an inch up here! Give it back! :rain:

    Except those in hotels...
Colorado has gotten hammered. No records yet but southern Colorado is hitting the same water equivalent depths as 96/97, which was a big el nino. If you are planning on i70 in May it would be a good idea to make sure your tires are snow rated or that you have chains. New traction laws on that road this year.

Rock Therapy with a hotel is nice. Especially with it being in June

Truck goes in for new valve cover gaskets end of the month.
Crawled under it last night to grease the stuff that needed greased and noticed oil on the rear of the oil pan and on the steering rack.
Stuff is pouring down the rear of the motor out of the driver side cover. Or I hope that's where it's all coming from.
At least it explains the burning oil smell it has lately. :)

@thefatkid I just want to pick your brain. Since my throttle body is different is there a different gas pedal I'm going to need?

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
If you can find a place to do it. I am more then willing to help pull and put the new one in. I have done a couple motor pulls and installs before.

    2003 harness and ECU.

Is there a pedal position sensors? For the ETCS-i.

I'd be up to help. Done a few engine swaps myself before.

And the only payment needed would be grub and beverages.

Thanks everyone! I'll keep you guys in the loop. I am giving one last try at a different dealer. If that doesn't work I am going to start figuring out the details.

Yes, there is an accelerator pedal position sensor and throttle position sensor. They are both contained on the throttle body, the reason you still have a cable. This setup also allows for a 30% mechanical backup.
