My "to-do" list is growing. These things are heavy, don't buy if you don't have a real bumper to mount them to. It feels like 10lbs, shipping weight was over 20lbs including packaging.

How deep are they, and what'd they cost if you dont mind sharing.

Eventually I'd like to get a good spotlight, but it'd probably need to go behind the grill since I do not have an aftermarket front bumper.

So I finally came due for my 60k. I usually do as much maintenance myself as I can/feel comfortable, then take it to the dealer for the major ones just to have them do the inspection parts. I figure since I only ever really see my truck and I'm not as mechanically inclined as many/most people around here, having an experienced set of eyes look things over is worth it.

One of the things on the 60k (at least in my guide, and note it only applies to the 1GRFE) is 'inspect engine valve clearance'. I looked up that in the service manual and it's not exactly a simple procedure. The dealer didn't list it as part of their service package. When I asked, I was told it would add 5 hours of labor and since it was rarely ever an issue and you'd know if it was, they just don't do it unless they see signs of a leak.

Has anyone had their 60k done at a dealer where they did inspect the engine valve clearance? Do the techs (@thefatkid @lotsoftoys ) have any thoughts or opinions?

I'll try and get a comparison to @CoTacoTRD light setup. I have not really run any off road lights for a very long time, KC daylighter long time. I have no HID or LED experience other then being blinded by other guys on our most recent trail rescue.

I hope to have them wired/mounted within 2 weeks.

1st thing to note, the only come with the wiring and connector just off of the light. I will have to build my own harness and circuit.

Yes, they are HID. About the same diameter as these LEDs

    Interested to see this comparison.

Then convince him they're better so he can sell me the Baja designs.

Oh, and did you catch my PM? Getting close to ordering gears and the front locker.

It does say that yes... typically there is no need to do so if nothing is wrong.

Super happy and nervous. But it's running I do have a p0037 code for the 2nd sensor. I'm going to contact Amazon and try and swap it out. The 4WD does work. The power is way better then the 4 banger. Feels nice. But I have to get used to the vibes from the solid mounts I have. Oh yeah @BDN if your available Sunday shoot me your address so I can come bring you your cheery picker.

Big thanks to everyone that had a hand in helping me. If it wasn't for everyone here this would of not been possible. Thank you!
