I hear ya granted this was the last snow storm we had but still, I had to help an electric crap wagon out that had such bald tires that the steel cables were showing... needless to say no tow point any where front or back and the driver was a couple bolts short of an attached head saying "I thought they would last me until summer." Alot of pushing later and asking if I may drive her out of the spot she was on the road again to go across the street for tires.

 

not really, no. I just cleared it off, admittedly it was a half ass attempt but my lunch was cooking at the same time.

dont you only have to have 1/8 or greater tread on your tires for you to be in the "clear"

For regular snow I believe yes. The number of people here I see running around that to steel belts showing is alarmingly high.

I can't imagine any member here having that problem. Even an A/T that is 90% gone would have more tread. haha

 

minivans should be banned from the road during snow events. Hell, I drove my full size for one job this morning and it's been parked since.

Just cleared another 4", the previous shovelings were 2", 2", and 1".
And it's dumping now. Off to walk Wondermutt, then shovel mom's drive again.
