So I get to try and repair the radiator in the van. The drain plug is fubar.
Here is a pic of the entire assembly
    This is two pieces.
The smaller squarish part has lost it's thread.
I can't get a hold on the inner piece, looking through a mirror to see the thing. Warming my hands and going at it with a smaller set of needle nose here in a bit. It's kind of chilly out. Should just be a squeeze and pull to remove it but I can't get my left, right, up and down coordinated through the mirror.:p

Got it. :yay:<<that was me in the street.

The crack is the culprit. O'Reilly says they have one in stock for $3.99. Hoping to get back to work today.
The grey crap is a failed last ditch effort last night with JB Weld cause I just couldn't see what the problem was.:anonymous:

And the fucking new one broke too. :annoyed: Like literally as it was pushed in. It now resides within the radiator.
Plastic piece of shit. I remember a time when they were made of brass and just simply worked.
Trip to Markley Motors gave me a OEM part number but they didn't have the part on hand. Trip to Dellenbach showed that the part is actually discontinued. It's nice to get all the pertinent info in one stop.
Trip to NAPA, they have the same aftermarket plastic in a different box.
So I wrapped the fucking thing (the 2nd one) in teflon tape, you know, to help hold the new piece together, and so far it's holding but I haven't started it up yet. I have a piece of paper under it to see if it drips. Tightened down nice and firm this time so maybe. :fingerscrossed:

No quote yet, I'm waiting for him to call back about the cam plugs. I was just asking as they look difficult to get to and I am trying to avoid any more surprises.

It shouldn't cost much more then $60 plus parts if they are doing the valve covers. More then that.................

Random question, but actual user feedback is better than what I'll get from the places.

Looking for a credit union/bank for a small business account. MUST have a working mobile app for depositing checks. Westerra... Does not have this. That is literally all I need, a place thats going to make money on my money, not charge me fees and have a working app to deposit checks. Wells Fargo app works great, but they have a low amount thats free to deposit before they start leaching off you.

Bellco possibly, I don't have any experience with them but they are a well known credit union.

Thanks, I originally opened one with Credit union of Co... they said they had business accounts but said they were "in the process" of being able to have them after I opened a personal account there. I've given Westerra months, and I am done waiting, since thats the only thing I need and they cannot provide a working solution.

that sounds similar to Arapahoe credit union, where my personal accounts are, but they don't offer any business accounts.

You might look at Public Service Credit Union. I switched to them for personal when Wells Fargo stopped offering free checking (at least for my balance levels). Opened a business account with them when I started consulting. I've not used it as I've yet to join the smartphone age, but I do see they have a mobile banking app that lets you deposit checks and for business (edit - I say that and then notice the link under the business column took me to a personal page, so I guess you'll have to double check). I've been happy from both personal and business standpoint, but then my banking is extremely simple.

Yea, I think they just want a quick come back rather then fix it right the 1st time.

Have you started the MDT test yet? Sunday is my day I think. Have not had time at work yet.
