I went on a date with a girl who was easily a 9.5-9.8... way out of my league... about 2 months ago, to rock bottom brewery in Westminster at 5, then we were planning on going to a movie. she texts me at 2 asking if we could move the date up to 4 because she was starving. I agreed and we sat down to eat at 4. immediately I could tell something was off (this was a second date... first one went alright actually)... that's when she says... I'm a little stoned... I wanted to make sure I was hungry so I smoked a little pot. now I don't really have an issue with pot, but being military I can't partake, and so it seems kind of odd she'd show up to the date high knowing that. strike 1. at this point I need to tell you she was a single mother (dad has custody) of a 11 y/o (she was only 29) and I swear to god, there were no less than 10 infants in the bar area of Rock Bottom... so she starts in to "I want another baby, but it'll probably kill me..." tears start welling in her eyes... and I'm seriously sitting there like WTF! Strike 2... so then because this shit was like a train wreck and I couldn't look away, we decide to still go to the movie. only problem was it, was 450 when we got done eating... next movie 7:15 (Daddy's home... shitty movie btw don't waste your $) so we decide to kill time walking around the little shopping area... when she says... hey I actually need to stop into Ross really quick, do you mind? I can only claim brain damage from my stroke 5 years ago so I tagged along... where she did just what your chick did... starts shopping... like full on... let me try on these dresses, shopping. STRIKE... 2.5 At this point I'm having an out of body experience... looking down at myself, yelling... RUN... but I could do nothing. so we finished at Ross (she actually acted like she expected me to pay for the candle and hat she bought... sorry I had a stroke not a lobotomy) So then we go to Target "to get snacks for the movie" while I'm looking at snacks, which I wasn't even really interested in... this bitch disappears and then flags me down at the register... where she's buying feminine hygiene wash, lube, and 3 boxes of condoms. Uh... at this point I don't know if it was a Strike or a foul ball... cause she was f'n gorgeous (I'd realize later she's in the Danger zone for the Crazy/Hot matrix fans out there)... but then we walk out and she says "if you haven't noticed I'm slightly Bi-Polar... but it's so slight that even my Dr's can't notice (then how did you get diagnosed with it?)" definite STRIKE 3,4,5,6, all nine innings of all 182 games... but alas... I was still stuck in an out of body experience looking down... pleading... screaming... for me to just RUN... but no... we get over to the movie... and there's a line about 1/4 mile long... for Star Wars. no worries, I'll buy on Fandango and just pick it up at the little kiosk... only Fandango fuck's up... charges me twice for both tickets (so $54 for two tickets)and the kiosks are down, so we have to wait in another line... 15 min later, we're through, only she wants a drink (they serve liquor and beer at this theater) so 10 min later she gets a $16 jack and coke... more like jack, with a drop of coke (which it should be for $16) we walk into the theater... boom filled with pre-teens... Movie sucked to begin with... then throw in all the immature cringing when Will Ferrell makes a penis joke or flashes his bear ass and it was 1000x worse)... the whole time she kept looking over at me and watching to see if I had a good time... fuck'n weird... last 10 min of the movie were the only real funny parts, at the point the movie ended... I got up... walked out... got in my truck and sped home... didn't say another word to her... f'n hippies...

That was the highlight of my afternoon. After getting a coworker to lick a bunch of batteries to see if they were good.

That's fair,,but reading that was like watching a bad horror movie. Maybe a disclaimer next time. For a guy that understand pictures better than words that was unrewarding. Initially I did start skimming it looking for key words,,but then had to torture myself and read again looking for the reason a man would subject himself to such torture. The hunt continues.

After meeting her at the register and seeing her items, I'd have gone back to a bar, skipped the movie, and seen where it went.

Gotta step into the batter's box in order to swing for glory. Once in awhile you'll get beaned but at least you still get on base.

I really want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they got tboned or just anything other than what it looks like. :facepalm:Because if that is what it looks like, that's just criminal. On so many levels. :annoyed: I mean, it would really, really suck on a trail, but at least it would be doing what it was built/meant to do. On the landscaping at the mall though? :frusty:

Are there any 2nd gen owners here that have replaced your steering rack bushings? If so, what is the inspection process? What were the symptoms?
The reason I ask is because I rotated my tires this weekend and now the steering wheel has a shimmy between 50-70 mph. Maybe one of the rears that I put on the front is out of balance and it just amplifies through the steering wheel?
Tires have 35k on them and have not been balanced since the initial install.
The trucks been lifted for 100k miles on stock steering rack bushings.
