    "not a single weld broke on the bumper" was the first few words out of my dads mouth to me at the hospital (i had built the bumper)

    Here in a week ir two i want to go down to the bins where my old truck is and take a picture with it and my new truck side by side. SAS and all. But i know its going to make me feel really bad... :(

    Yeah and it was my first vehicle. You live and you learn. A hard lesson learned though. I'm thankful I came out without a scratch. Went through a revine, airborne, and then hit a dead tree, big branch went through passenger side windshield! Thank the Lord it wasn't on my side!

    Yeah I'm satisfied with how Toyota made these trucks (other than the frame stuff) but that bumper had a lot to do with my safety too

    Not on yours, we have inertia sensors so the bumper does not effect air bags. Just the crumple zone in the front
