Im in fo sho! Love the sand lol! But i think the sangres are going to get hammered with snow tomorrow or next week and they may have the gate closed on the top of the pass. Who knows when it will open.

If I get my bike sorted out (aka oil changed, replace a gasket) I'll haul it to the base of the pass and scout it out one day but with the snow coming in I do think we'll have to postpone.

Yeah one of my two clients is OG based. Surprisingly they slowed down for a little bit and now are actually giving me more work than they had been. We'll see how long that lasts. Congrats on the new job, hope it goes well for you.

So a stud condom eh... :rimshot:

Depending on what you like, yes. I was up last weekend. Most trails are well-packed, so snowshoes were not required but were helpful (you will post if you step off the beaten path). Traction (ie YakTrax) would probably be pretty helpful. But we've already had one storm this week and are getting another. If we get nothing else between now and then, it'll probably be repacked. If we do... It'll be a winter experience either way. Lot fewer people in the park this time of year too, so depending on where you go it isn't hard to get away from crowds.

Fawk. I want to go... I have a funeral that day. Damn.
I am in alamosa. I can literally see the dunes from my office. No snow on the dune field. That storm that got most of Colorado didn't hit here or the sangres. There was a small storm Saturday over blanca and crestone but most has blown away.

There isn't a gate at the top of the pass, but there are 3 on the west side and are usually closed for maintenence. I am pretty sure you can call and ask. I can give you guys a more accurate picture closer to the time.

I left home over an hour ago and I'm not even halfway to work yet. That's normally like a 20 minute drive for me....

Lucky for me I'm in my work truck and get paid drivetime. So I'm basically getting paid to sit in traffic right now

Depends on time. I have a conference call at 10, then my schedule is pretty lax.
