    Yep here in Boulder we have over a foot so far. Here a pic I took this morning at about 4" of snow. Love that way my truck looks in the snow.

    Enough to make it a lot of fun!
    It is highly recommended. Not rehearing will put a lot of stress on your tcase and transmission. You are moving a lot more weight then stock.

    So is different (higher) gear just have deeper teeth to carry the weight of the rotation?

    No when we talk about gear ratios 3.73, 4.10, 4.56, 4.88..... Thats the number of times your drive shaft has to spin to rotate the axle one time.

    No it will just keep me in the power band and put a lot less stress on my rig. I also have an offroad pop up trailer and it is a bear to pull in the mountains with 4.10.
