Mig is a wire feed method of welding which is usually used for steel and tig does not use consumables if I remember correctly and is usually used for aluminum.

Better to ask what I have not done.
Mig is wire fead through a torch with the shielding gas around it. Very easy process and is great for production because you can have a large spool of wire to feed.

Tig, stands for tungsten inert gas. Where there is a tungsten rod at the end of the torch with a point that will not melt, the weld metal is heated by that and then you can instert welding filler rod as you go down your weld with this process. It makes for very precise and great looking welds but takes a lot of practice and takes forever to weld up something do to the time you have to put in it.

Probably sliders, skids and then maybe a lift in that order.

Was looking at RCI skids in aluminum but man their sliders get pricey!

Even though its a unibody frame, aren't they usually weld spots?

I dont know about the 16 but we do not have unibodys. We have frames and where your sheet metal on pinch seams are welded. Thats spot welded where two electrodes pinch the metal sheets together and zapp it with electricity to melt the two together at that point.

Anyone know where to get my wheels powder coated gloss black in CO? Hoping for under $100 per wheel.
Just a consideration right now. Not 100% on getting it done.

I may just get the rings powder coated in gloss black instead and leave them on with the gun metal wheels.
