If you're going to put it in a used oil heater the coolant with fuck the heater up. The mechanics shop at work goes through this every winter from contaminated oil.

Wealth obviously has a bad sense of fashion...

I just saw one of these earlier, love the overall look but with that stupid random yellow paint, it looks like a civic/neon that spray painted random parts. Sad way to ruin a car.

I have a WORX 56v lawn trimmer. It's bad ass. Old School B&D cordless trimmers had no guts to get it done but this WORX thing is awesome.

They look pretty cool, I saw a string trimmer, hedge trimmer and chainsaw. And the prices looked comparable if not less than a good gas tool. If I had any stuff to maintain, I'd give them a try for sure.

Nope. We don't use heaters here at work. Just jackets and coveralls to stay warm in the winter.

I just put it in the recycled material. Or we use it to lube large chains.

I know the 3.4 Taco killed the 4.0l 4runner for trail fuel mileage. I'm curious how the 2uz will fit in.

so maybe we should start our own business, importing gas from Australian during the winter! Summer gas all year round! but then again... because they're backwards... it would burn backwards and might cause a problem with our engines... :pout:

I think it would be fine if the GT stripe was also yellow, but having both yellow and white? The pillars and the mirror? Meh. I personally don't like to call attention to mirrors, which is why I hate when they're chrome backed or something else (of course, I dislike chrome period). The pillars are the same. My neighbor has an old Saturn I think and the pillars are silver while the entire rest of the car is black. It looks weird, like it's a convertible top or something. I guess the yellow is ok if the stripe were, but personally I'd probably just do the stripe and the grill part, along with the calipers. The mirrors and pillars seem like 'too much' to me.

edit: no autocorrect, I said STRIPE not STRIP. It is a word and it's what I meant.

I can't tell from looking, did you go over Pennock or just up from 14? I know the county doesn't plow/winter maintain it, so I wasn't sure if it was passable. Along the same line of whether Ballard/Greer are passable if properly equipped and know what you're doing, or if they really are impassible due to snow as the FS says.

I had to go from 14. The original plan was to take 14 to Pingree, head over Pennock and go over to Greer and Ballard to take a look. Pennock is closed at Pingree. And There is a gate on the other side just up from Greer that is prolly closed too.
Flowers and the other one next to it (?) are closed as well. Can't remember the name of it. It's just before white rabbit road aka White Pine on the other side. I think that one may be closed indefinitely.

As far as the snow in the area, it's hit or miss. If it gets sun, it's clear or just a few inches. If it's shaded or on the North side, it's 3-4' deep in spots. Also like driving thru mashed potatoes. Just 6-8 inches will make it a challenge.

On a side note, the F.S. better get that tree mitigation done asap. There are "new" trails all over the Pingree area and the Zimmerman cutoff area that weren't there last year. I fear that whole areas are about to be closed permanently due to all this.
The Zimmerman road is normally open year around and gives people a place to spin tires and get stuck without causing damage when 7-Mile is closed. It's been closed going on two years now.

This guy was on the left side of the pic when I got there. It is just a grassy area, or was. I have no idea why he drove in there but he said he was there for about 4 hours before the guy before me got there and pulled his dumb ass out.(Jeep Liberty tugged him out btw, wasn't that stuck but tore the hell out of it). Fucking Suburban with a temp tag and corporate street tires, never should have left the pavement.
That's his wife out there apologizing profusely and gathering up the dog as I shook my head and took the pic.
