Ok lets get this thread back on topic!

I present to you... Egg wraps! First time I've made them and they are nom nom. And healthy!

    0426161759_zpsqvfdbxc4_bd57e0c3b9bc3176d2f7a8eb6fa6e7a32baea2fa.jpg

    0426161803_zps8kictclz_62f9ba27674c0c4d68aa388dbc2cd108373b6e69.jpg

    Egg, ham and cheese wraps

    • 8 large eggs
    • 4 teaspoons water
    • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour or cornstarch
    • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
    • 4 teaspoons coconut oil
    • 1 1/3 cups shredded Swiss cheese
    • 4 ounces very thinly sliced ham
    • 1 1/3 cups loosely packed spinach

Place the eggs, water, flour or cornstarch, and salt in a medium bowl and whisk until broken up and the flour or cornstarch is completely dissolved.

Heat 1 teaspoon of the oil in a 12-inch nonstick frying pan over medium heat until shimmering. Swirl the pan to coat the bottom with the oil. Add 1/2 cup of the egg mixture and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan in a thin layer. Cook until the wrap is completely set on the edges and on the bottom (the top can be a little wet, but should be mostly set), 3 to 6 minutes.

Using a flat spatula, loosen the edges of the wrap and slide it underneath the wrap, making sure it can slide easily around the pan. Flip the wrap with the spatula. Immediately sprinkle 1/3 cup of the cheese over the wrap and cook until the second side is set, about 1 minute. Slide it onto a work surface or cutting board (the cheese might not be fully melted yet). While still warm, place a single layer of ham over the egg. Place 1/3 cup of the spinach across the center of the wrap. Roll it up tightly.

Repeat with cooking and filling the remaining wraps. Using a serrated knife, cut each wrap crosswise into 6 (1-inch) pieces.

Recipe called for watercress, I dont know WTF that is, but its green and looked like spinach. I used coconut oil, you can use vegetable oil if you like clogged arteries and heart problems. I also used cheddar, turkey, green chili and roasted red peppers. Taste freaking awesome and I'll probably keep a few in the fridge to warm up or just eat cold as snacks. They are REALLY good.

I also put the fillings on top of the cheese and let them heat up while in the pan.

Hey guys. I'm thinking of moving to CO in a couple of years. I'm between CO or AZ if my girlfriend and I aren't staying in CA. I'd personally rather go to either of those states over this money pit. Just thought I'd stop in and say hello and see whats up.

As long as you are up for a good discussion of food or laundry, you'll fit in... for this week.

Couple of years, I dont even know what I'm doing tomorrow! And, I would avoid telling people you're coming from CA, you'll get as nice of a welcome as if you said you're from Floriduh.

Does it make it better that I don't like CA? I mean, spring year round is nice and we have attractive women, but I'm paying 2k a month for a shitty one bedroom apartment here.

Yes, that helps. Rent isn't cheap in the front range depending on where you end up, but it seems it has been slowing down and going down (at least in some places) due to so many new apts being built/finished.

I'll be around Denver if I end up there. My girlfriend will be applying to PA schools around there and throughout AZ and CA. Wherever she gets in, I'll transfer for work and I should be set. As long as I'm near a decent sized city, it is likely my work has an office.

A small handful of select mods.
Which one you end up with? Ours is a 5.7 cube foot with the pre soak sink in it. Stainless tub top load with no agitator. It uses water jets to agitate I guess.
Our dryer came with a cold water splitter and another hose. It steam drys on certain settings.

I got the next model down from that one. 4.5 cubic foot, no pre soak as I wouldn't know what to do with it. Top load of course, Stainless is more or less the norm with most of them and divorced the agitator a few years ago. Still using the old dryer until it goes up in smoke. Hopefully in the next two days while the sale is still on.

I live in southlands... $1150 for a 850sq ft one bedroom (though they fucked up so I ended up with a 1,200sq ft 2 bedroom lol)

all depends on WHERE you live... but I'd stay away from Aurora... wrong side of Denver and fucking shitty drivers.

Better to ask what I have not done.
Yes and no. They revolution is fairly new. The guy that owns it worked for superior gear (great company supposedly) when they were around. The gears them self's look great and when i was talking with him said that they are made in the same place as nitro gears. There only difference so far that Brian has found is that they set up easier and did the heat treat after honing rather then before.
