All the other stuff I've ordered has been packed to death. Of course I order something fragile and they do this.

The great thing is that it cost more to ship it than the part cost. :cookiemonster:

I'm surprised my grilled didn't show up in 12 pieces when they shipped it to me.

As if they couldn't care less about actually packing it properly.

I'm glad you are looking at the packaging as the main factor. Most people want to immediately blame the carrier, but what they don't realize is that process is mostly automated. Meaning it runs down a series of slides and down chutes where the damage is most likely to occur due to improper packaging.

Sorry that happened, but I agree with you, looks poorly packaged IMO.

I agree poorly packaged, but I have cameras on my house and watch large packages poorly handled all the time while coming to my door. I really don't care because if it's damaged I'll send it back so no big deal.

@Ice Horse do you want me to take care of it. I like taking hostages. Ask the Taliban. We lock them up in metal containers and sit them in the Afghan desert to think about trying to attack Marines.... Oh wait over the line. Sorry.... Your going to have to do it.

Last shipment I was swimming in packing material. Interestingly enough I ordered a grille in that order too haha. All that stuff was packaged well but the grille looked like it was damaged before it was packed. I was missing an item too. But I easily sent in a request to send my stuff again and they actually called me after hours which was cool to make everything right. So their customer service I can't complain about.

At least normally you can tell who caused what problems. I know the hole in the box is from the item poking it from poor packaging. Just irks me that whoever packed it didn't even try. They literally just SET the bubble wrap in there.

    Do eeet!

Now I'm not as angry that it's snowing. Because I would have been even more ruffled about it if it was actually warm enough outside to work on it.

I haven't had to do one since I moved here from out of state. Think I had a cop do it. A few PDs will do it for free, as will CSP, but they have limited hours or by appointment only. County will do it, as will the emissions test place or the sheriff, but charge $20. Dealership might do it for you for free, depending on your relationship with them. See page 2: http://larimer.org/vehiclelicensing/checklist.pdf
