    No problem bud.
Nope not at all. I have a loaded gun in my truck, and 3 loaded pistols in my bedroom at all times.

Super old school here, .38 Model 66 CC, .357 Model 19 for the range, 45-70 falling block for longer range. More modern ones about as well, but seldom used.

If you keep it in a bathroom where you shower, I would be checking that thing weekly for rust, that much moisture can be harmful. A light coat if CLP for long term storage in those conditions.

    And no, not weird!

i see your point. those 2 bathrooms are spare ones, not showering in them (but steam from some serious dumps might effect them). the master bath gets the gun set on the counter when i bathe. and i take all the guns out and shoot and clean regularly.
good idea for the guns i leave around for times on end though. i should check them and clean them.

For those of you with suppressors, how much of a pain in the ass is the paperwork/process of getting one? Did you do it through a trust? I want to get one for my bolt action .22 rifle to create the ultimately quiet varmint plinker.

You're fine then. I cringe when I think about the police officers who qualify with their sidearm once a year and the rest of the year stand outside in the rain and humidity!

easiest way for now, is set up a gun trust and just sign some papers. still takes 5 to 6 months for atf paperwork to come back .
after july 13 2016 theres some additional items that will had to be submitted. (fingerprint card, photo, and notification to CLEO). do it now if you want and can afford what you want. just a bit easier now.

--edited for dates. july 13th not the 16th...---

I noticed this on the scar!:spy: Hahah very nice! :fistbump:

Honstly its not to hard, i did do a trust due to wanting my father to have the ablity to use them, but with 41F coming july 13th buying as an individual will be a little better with out the need of a LEO sign off. Trust will now need to have passport photos and finger print cards for everyone in the trust who can possess at the time of submission after july 13th.

    This has good info.
