Yup. Make sure you take care of the heated and cooling of the diff prior. Sunday is going to be putting miles on it. Not sitting for an hr waiting for it to cool.

Yes, make sure you don't just drive through the 500 miles though. You still need breaks with cool down. Get a laser temp gun. Keep temps below 190°

 

Got one i could borrow?

 

There is quite a bit of breaks in between because of paved roads. I wouldn't go over 50mph and for no longer the 50miles at a time. Then drive 10 miles in 2wd. I didn't have a heat gauge. But we will keep it under 190* for sure.

 

What about the rear

 

Oh shit you have to do the rear. we will go at your pace. I haven't looked into breaking in the rear. I'll get back to you. I'll read up on it.

 

.002" shift in pinion. Looks better.

 

Thats the thing i hated about the set p kits is out of all three kits my pinion depth could only be changed in .008 increments...

 

Looks to be a front clamshell in the background and an ARB carrier. Is that my diff?

 

That belongs to the truck formerly know as the rocklobster. It will need a new name.

 

It comes down to a lot of math and shim selection. Also, I have a billion shims now.
