General Tacoma question... Saturday and Sunday my truck seemed to smell like it was running really rich on the trails. I would stop and wonder who was leaking gas, and realized it was coming from my exhaust. My only guess was it could've been crappy gas? Have not noticed it before this weekend, I filled up in Montrose, after running on fumes thanks to construction/slow vehicles killing my MPG on the way to Montrose and nowhere to fill up in between.

I had half a tank left after the Rimrocker and filled up in Moab, ran it all the way down and refilled so any Montrose gas should be gone now. But not sure if it was just the slow trail riding and it being hot as hell making it run rich. It seemed to run fine, no out of the ordinary vibration from the engine.

To clarify, it smelled rich after the Montrose fill up and the Moab fill up. The next fill up was on the highway, so I didnt smell it.

 

You need to teach me how to do this. I've always wanted to take Milky Way shots but they always come out like crap no matter how much I read about how to do them. I'm a learn by doing kind of guy

 

Which DiscountTire is the best around Brighton, Westminster, Thornton? I need to buy some wheels, and I'll need to have them mount some tires on them.

 

Was on Wheeler's lake today and had to turn around on the trail with the snow getting worse and worse. Not my finest moment that's for sure. So yeah this sucks but it is done and now to move on. Recommendations for a body shop in the Littleton area is needed. Thanks in advance for any body shop location suggestions.
This also might expedite the high clearance rear bumper install pending $$.

 

You guys ever go up to the Windy Ridge by Alma? Went up there camping with my GF this weekend and we were the first ones to go all the way up (until a 20 foot, impassible drift). We had to bust through several smaller drifts to get to the point where we eventually camped.

That one was... I think: F3.5, 6400iso, 15 seconds. Also got similar quality with 3200iso and 20-25 seconds. Always lowest f stop.

At least that's what i do, but I've only had a big boy camera for a few months now, so i just take a ton of pictures and hope a few come out.

Biggest thing is name sure you can hit the shutter button and not shake the camera, or put a 2 second timer or use a remote since a little shaking will blur it up

Looks like quite a bunch in our dumpster. Possibly a stack of pallets also.

@alee891 it was good meeting you buddy!! so many people on TOTW sat, 3 groups ended up going up it staggered that day, were you in the 3rd group with @Gramps

It was great meeting you, Phil! We'll definitely have to get together more often for some trails and a beer or two! I was actually in a last minute group gathered by @Reh5108 and myself. Ryan led everyone up and rocked it. We didn't get to the trail head until around ~11:00 or so. Odds are we were the last group (possibly 4th) that day haha. We ran into numerous jeeps and side-by-sides throughout the entire trail, as well as another TW group heading down as we were going up. Top Of The World on Saturday afternoon is a hot spot apparently.

 

Yup I heard someone had a good vid of it. I still don't know how it was. All I saw was sky and then I'm landing... Looking forward in seeing a pic or something.
