Coming home from a long day of building trails/bridges and the new a/c unit is still sitting on the floor waiting to be installed. Thanks fokers, at least its not bloody hot, even with two other fans going and the old a/c rattling to death. Just kidding... trying to not move while sitting in my boxers to avoid sweating.

Mine is on the bed rail right behind the cab in the center. I also run a 4', but pretty much only put it on when going on interstate or wheeling. It doesn't clear anything if it's on (drive-throughs, parking garages, my garage). They're top load antennas, so technically 2/3 is still above the cab... :D

    Plethora of "useless" shit
Driving up to Boulder around noon, there was no smoke visible so I was hopeful for Nederland. Coming home a few hours later looks like the fire found some legs again. Sucks!

I can see the massive plume of smoke from here. And a friend that lives up Coal Creek Canyon said it jumped some road a few hours ago. No bueno.

So my front drivers side suspension has a single clunk mostly when off-road, articulating. It did it after the last set of shocks were installed (by me). I checked bolts and everything I touched was tight. I thought it might've been the non OEM lower shock bolt being a slightly different size since the OEM one got junked up and had to be cut off (there was plenty of room to cut, no damage to the mount on the LCA). That was replaced with OEM, and I put new shocks in again. The clunk is still there. It doesn't happen on every bump, or every time it flexes out, but it happens a bit. Washboard roads wont do it unless I am slamming on the brakes while on a washboard road. Single thunk, drivers front area. It has also been aligned after the clunk started with no change. The only thing that has changed in the setup (other than two sets of OME shocks) was the addition of the trim packer.

Could it be a ball joint? If so, any way to test it/confirm? Boots on top and bottom look fine. I've tried to wiggle it by holding the tire, cannot recreate the noise when under the truck. When doing the shocks I only touch the upper three bolts for top hat, lower shock bolt, sway bar mount, end link, and the two large bolts on the bottom of the knuckle.

Only aftermarket stuff in the front end is the OME spring/shock.
