    I have to get new pads. Plus I think it's time for new rotors (one has been warped for about 5 years).

    Viking Brett (aka @Squeaky Penguin ) gave me his former EBC slotted/drilled rotors that my friend's shop will turn for me. Was planning on using those if they are still usable (which I assume they are because he's not an asshole). They came off his 2001, pretty sure the rotors can work for my 1998. Or maybe those are just overkill for my truck.

    @45acp gave me his old calipers but they're off his 2004 so I doubt they'll fit on my 1998.

    Or I could just get new rotors like Brembo, EBC regular, etc.

    So basically what I'm saying is... I guess I have options. :notsure:

    If you want to drag your pile over to firestone, we can have it done in about 1/2 hour.

    Had @chenbro done in about 1/2hr but then he decided he needed like 10ft long rear brake lines and of course his passenger bleeder screw was buggered and ultimately the wheel cylinder which meant we had to drive to thornton to get another one.... but that's another story

    @Reh5108

    And anyone else who might know... Is the Grand Lake area free of fire related closures/issues?

    And is there a site that shows the areas/conditions of said fires? I've heard there are like 17 going right now, one is in Wyoming now, one was by Nederland but thats about all I have.

    Firestone isn't far. Have to get the parts first, obviously, and have the rotors turned. But it would be a pleasure to meet you and see if what Viking Brett and Leo say about you is true.

    You can still have a beer with him... and his cryogenic coffin will also keep your beer cold. As evident in the photo.
