What are the restrictions on using chain saws while on the trail?

I know there may be more now that the fire bans are in.

    Spark arrestors? Certain areas?

I run my chainsaw all the time and have never heard of any restrictions. I believe the official forest service rules are you need to have a spark arrestor (and I can't imagine you can buy a saw without one), and you're also suppose to have a certain size/type of fire extinguisher on you. I have a small fire extinguisher in my truck, that's good enough for me.

Cool, just wasn't sure. The only person I've heard talking about one was a douchebaggy.... Wait for it... Jeep driver with another group who was cutting down trees in the middle of a hot day in a burn area to start a campfire "because he had a permit to do it." we quickly finished lunch and got out of there.

You're suppose to have a permit to cut fire wood.

That being said I cut down standing dead trees all the time for fire wood without one. The way I see it helps the forest to knock down some beetle kill trees.

Getting bad? It's been bad! I seriously don't understand how people get in accidents all the time.

If you need a new steering rack I would the Rack Doctor and get one from them. Then have someone install it for you.

Sometimes, during the lazy summer days sitting at the town pump, I really miss the original hamburger stand. You knew it was a crappy burger, and it didn't matter. Causr quarter.

My future mod: I want to install a 20" LED light bar. Are there any reliable brands out there that has good moisture lock, doesn't crack the lens if rocks chips hit, holds up to CO weather, nothing crazy in price like Rigid?

I'll say that now that I got my Rigid pods, I can see why people pay that much for things like Rigids and Baja Designs. They are nice!
