My wife is wanting to go camping sometime in the next month or so with our daughter (14 month old) and two dogs. She wants to take the pop-up camper (approx 20') and hopefully stay within an hour of Denver in case things go south. Does anyone have any suggestions of locations where this will be possible? I have a lot of experience and am much more of a fan of primitive tent camping and have spent well over 200 nights camping that way but when the wife wants to go "camping" I will do anything in my power to get her out of the house and more comfortable in the wilderness. Water and electrical hookups are not necessary as I have a deep cycle battery and water tanks in the camper. Any thoughts or leads on potential spots would be greatly appreciated! I am really hoping for something more outdoorsy than a KOA or RV park with people 10 feet away...

Radical should be good to go, everything else up there but Webster itself on the south side is open as well.

One of the Tacoma world vendor made a trial version of a bed rack/basket system. Need feedback, like or don't like? Would you put something like this on your truck?

    • Total weight with cross bars= 85lbs
    • Since I don't see myself getting RTT- I wanted something that has bed space underneath and above
    • Weight load is in the basket is approximately 200lbs when evenly distributed
    • Basket is approx 3ft x 3ft. Will fit up to a 35" spare tire
    • All 4 corners have light/antenna mounting holes and tie down points
    • Tabs in the rear for hi lift jack, shovel, axes...etc
    • Doesn't obstruct rear view mirror

I dig it. I like the low profile racks but I'd want mine to fit a RTT. Otherwise, very cool.
