Side to side movement is usually attributed to trigger pull. Maybe you're bracing too much, or not steady enough? Trying to compensate?

I did have my booger finger out from the trigger after each round and different stance but heck I cant get to level it off. I think since I am a Tacoma owner now....I physically have a permanent Taco lean...Toyota bastards!

Lots of factors at play to be consistent. Learn good fundamentals (stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger press, trigger reset, and whatever else I'm not thinking of right now), and practice.

Dry firing helps too, and if you can mix dummy rounds with your live rounds, it'll be painfully obvious if you're anticipating when the gun doesn't go bang but moves a bunch.

Didn't get much info before, but I'll try again.

OME 885/90021's, trim packer on drivers side. No other aftermarket goodies. Sway bar removed to isolate noise. Alignment is good with stock UCAs.

Have a single click/clunk on the drivers front corner that only happens when off-roading and I hit a rock. Doesnt usually happen on washboard type bumps, doesnt happen at all on the road. Not able to make it consistently do it. Shocks have been swapped and it remains the same, sway bar removed and its the same, all bolts are tight, checked multiple times.

I can grab the wheel with the truck on the ground and try to shake it all I want with no noise. I am thinking it could be upper ball joint, lower ball joint or tie rod end since there is nothing else that I would think makes the noise. It sounds like a clunk a sway bar would make... but its not on the truck anymore. Any good ways to test if I cant feel anything by wiggling the crap out of it?

Edit: turning does not matter, has happened when driving straight and turning from speeds of 0.1 to 15mph, in drive and reverse and it has been aligned since the noise started.

Truck now has 27k'ish on it.

Could also have to do with too tight of a grip with the left hand. I also like the idea of snap caps to practice dry firing. If it's a double action you can balance a quarter on the barrel while you dry fire. And of course mixing in the snap caps while shooting could definitely be helpful.

    What caliber are you shooting?

The sound you are describing and the way you have isolated it leads me to think one of your BJ'S. Most likely upper. That's just my thought though.

Tire carrier possibility for my bumper...just mocking things up for now. I need a surface for the pivot. That's a piece of 2" x 3" x 3/16" angle so it should be pretty stout once welded in.
