Dad goes to move the truck outside and thank god he brought the flashlight. Giant spider made a web between it and the mailbox. Only parked the truck there this morning lol. So I come out to look and I'm like "it's not a black widow is it?" It wasn't. I felt bad spraying it since it was outside so we went to find a stick. FREAKING BLACK WIDOW ON THE STICK. WTF. So that one got the spray. The other spider just got thrown into the neighbors yard lol.

I'm not sure what's up with spiders this year, is anyone else noticing that there's a TON of them? Freaking everytime I get in any of the trucks, spider webs or spider attacks while driving. Spray the house. Spiders. Go in garage, spiders stuck to everything. Seriously?!

Spiders are definitely thick this year. My front and back yard are covered in webs. Canoe shall not be touched this year, waiting the big freeze to reclaim it from arachnid hell.

I've got an event already on Sat :(

For anyone looking into seat covers... just an update on my Coverking fiasco that may help save you a headache.

They lost my returned under warranty cover that was falling apart on July 12th.... after hours on hold, being told "wait another 24-48 hours to see if we find it or send a replacement" so many times, I thought I made progress after filing a BBB complaint and got contacted the next day by Carol. But Carol seems to have dropped the ball like the rest of her comrades, and the cover and shipping info that was supposed to happen last week... never happened. Closing in on 5 weeks that they lost the cover and have not made it right. But I'm sure in 24-48 hours it'll be shipped out... :annoyed:

Moral of the story, don't waste all that money on something that has a warranty, that you'll use, but never get a replacement.

Did you tear the inside ones or the outside ones. If you tore the inside ones I would call CVJ and have them replace them since you did pay for the better boot.

@BigRedToy hey bud sorry to hear about your situation with Insain fab. I'm planning on swinging by Corey place after work today but lately he hasn't been there when I get there. I will bring it up to him and hopefully you guys could work something out.

Remember I don't work for him. So I'm just passing word as a friend. So you know Corey had always gone above and beyond for my build and I'm great full for his work. That's just my personal experience.

Thanks. I'm really not sure why this is the way it is, but I'm in the opposite situation.

"We?" Pretty sure it was your one post that did.

I still SCTM (silently chuckle to myself) from time to time about that.

What I see is a select, small group of people that are happy with his service and his products, and another large group that can't get a hold of him, never get calls returned, get led on about lead times, or are not satisfied with what they receive.

The man can run the business how he chooses, but serving only friends won't keep him in business long...

I don't recall which post you're referring to.

Something about juggling three girlfriends... to which she replied, "well, make that two now."

Been trying to stay out of this one, but FWIW, when I was in the market for Sliders and a CMC, i tried to get in touch w insain/corey to no avail. Decided to get both done by Jake and I'm super happy with it. Didn't wait more than a week for the sliders, much better turn around than not having calls or emails returned. Just my experience with the company/guy.

@3378jakesr5 has been great to work with on my sliders. He kept me up to speed the whole way through. Now I just need to get my truck running so he can actually weld the damn things on!
