Yeah as I keep replying to you I keep wondering if the wheelbase, truck, etc makes a world of difference.

And don't tempt me.... I'm having cab-space issues as my daughter keeps getting bigger.

That's one bad thing about the first Gen is the wheel base is a tad short on certain trails that I've needed to be wider. But again I'd rather be skinny

Better to ask what I have not done.
My shackles are greasable on both ends. Its not the problem. And even with just the rear bumper and topper they were flat. And i heard that they can operate flat and negitive. All thin leaf, multi count stacks (more then 4 leafs) can work flat and negative due to the more progressive nature that each leaf adds as it cycles. This is why there is no overload leaf in the dakars like there is with a stock pack.
Im fine with the dakars running flat. I love the hight i have with it, but thats with a flip and longer shackles. If i had a stock setup and my leafs where flat i would be pissed that i have a prerunner stance on a truck i wanted level.

Also second gen packs and first gen truck packs from dakar are two diffrent dynamics according to arb's reps. So im not to shocked that the first fen packs are doing just fine.

Not trying to start any thing, just saying that i wish i never bought the dakars. And would recomend that if you ever think your going to do a tent/ rack/ rear bumper/ tire carrier/ water tank or all of the above then i would say get a custom pack made and do not bother with the dakars. Just like all the other reviews we do here. Take it with a grain of salt and see what the people that say what are running vs what the other people are running

My bastard packs cost me about $13 (for new center pins) and I'd put them up against any manufactured leafs.

Just asked the FaceSpace, figured I'd ask here as well.
For the Denver crowd with dogs, where do you guys take them for vet care?
My vet is still up in the valley and I'm not going to be up there in the next month or so and my fur baby is about due for her bortidella vaccine.

North side of town, I live in Highlands/berkeley
