So took the truck up the mountains after the lift ....it felt different when climbing with 200lbs in the bed. From what I have read in the past from this forum is different gearing...?

I take it you added taller/larger tires as part of your lift? Then yes, a change in gearing would make up for the tire size difference, if you can't live with the current performance.

If you do the Argo Mill tour, you'll get a bag of concentrate to pan which is guaranteed to have a few gold flakes in it.

Hell, I think my Garrett gold pan kit came with a bag as well. I carry pans in the wheeling rig, but haven't struck it rich... yet.

I was just thankful no parts fell off down I-70. I looked behind my rear view I saw some sparks, freaked me out. Coming to find out it was Semi starting to catch fire perhaps from the air brakes....phew!

We ended up around Silver Plum area than down to Georgetown. Wanted to hit Mt Evans before they closed but didn't make it.

A couple years ago, there was an event held there called (something like) gold miner's days. You got a mine tour, a bag with a good 10+ flakes of gold to pan, panning lessons, a hot dog lunch, and probably more that I'm forgetting. It was supposed to become annual; haven't made note whether or not it happened.

EDIT: And at that time, the Everett Tunnel wasn't open to the public. A mine remediation group, who had a display at that event, was scheduled to investigate its current state to decide if it could be opened. Was the Everett Tunnel open? **Found the answer: Yes, it is: http://georgetownlooprr.com/mine-tour

For our 10th wedding anniversary, we reserved a car on the dinner train for the celebration. They park the train on the bridge, you get to watch the sun set, and eat dinner (and we had a cake, renewed our vowels, blah, blah, blah ). What was really neat: The passengers in the other dinner cars found out that we were celebrating, and they passed a hat around to give us a congratulatory gift.

When the kids were younger, we'd do the train at least once a year. Haven't been in a couple of years (since that miner's days event). Been meaning to get up there and do some photography of the train when it's running the steam engine (the diesels don't do anything for me). I want to catch it when there's some snow on the ground, or fall colors in full swing.

Same basic thing as a raspberry pi. I have not used an arduino but a lot of guys on the ham I monitor driving to work have lots of discussion on them and a friend built his kegerator with one and another chills his baby's milk with it. they can control them remotely and set a temp much more specific than the fridge allows

I'll have to look into the raspberry pi. I'm asking because I'm looking for someone who knows the language to possible write a basic code for my conversion. The 4wd computer wants to talk to the ecu and other computers and I don't want to allow it. I have the wiring diagram and will know more about the sensors soon
