Okay, okay. Price similar for AR10 vs AR15?

Its like how much fucking money do we pay them per year so they can keep building for the next classes to want to go there and we still have to pay for parking AT THE SCHOOLo_O

No idea. I wondered the same kind of thing with Monarch Pass - wasn't sure who's camera it was, if was CSP that had jurisdiction, etc. It's always made me wonder about out of state too. I can't imagine DPD going all the way to Grand Junction to serve tickets. I think there are statistics out there of how many camera tickets are paid/ignored/issues/served/etc. I know press articles have referenced such before.
After seeing the pic I wondered if it had saved him, but then I saw mention of the passenger. Pretty sure it's been studied and shown that the odds of not having a seatbelt on and being ejected saving you are infinitesimal compared to the odds of being buckled in any case.
That has happened, and probably still does. Lots of studies and documented cases of accident rates going up after red light cameras are installed. It's usually traced to the length of the yellow being too short. When corrected, it tends to drop. Of course there's always a learning curve/time lag for people (roundabouts anyone?). But there are plenty of cases where they have been shown to cut accidents. And put an end to the five left turns on red thing @Gramps mentioned. I know here in FoCo there are some intersections where that still happens a lot. But the ones with red light cameras? Nope.
All laws and rules are unconstitutional. C'mon, just a little more and we can hit Godwin's here. The 'uneducated populous of sheep' who 'comply meekly' aren't the reason the 'authorities' exist in the first place. If everyone followed the rules (ie were meek sheep) we wouldn't need enforcement. That said, there's nothing wrong with conscientious objection. And I'm pretty sure you're right about ratting. I seem to recall it was just you had to sign an affidavit (ie the form they sent you) saying it wasn't you driving and that's it. Pointing the finger was optional. But nobody drives my truck but me, so I never really paid that much attention to those details. :D
Depends on the school. For the most part, they're closed/private entities, so unless they have something on you (ie, graduating) there isn't a lot they can do. It's no different than any other private parking lot (which, do note, you can be towed from because they set the rules, and they can certainly send you to collections). State schools might be a bit different since those cops are technically a division of state police. But then it's usually 'parking services', not the police, that manage the lots. There's a guy on here, drives a white 2nd Gen modified to LT. Don't know his name here, just from another forum. But I seem recall he used to work for CSU parking up here writing tickets...

Its ridiculous. 100 for a parking pass for the year. I didn't buy one last year and only got one parking ticket for 50, so still saved 50

Enough about traffic and tickets. New topic. My dad is looking at getting an aftermarket back-up camera. I guess he is looking at this:
    http://www.tadibrothers.com/products/7-monitor-with-wireless-mounted-rv-backup-camera
Seems a little big to me. But I should also mention this isn't for just regular backing up, it's mostly to do with having a landscape business, dual axle trailer, and working until well after dark not infrequently.

He's also looking at adding some lights to my mom's 4Runner. Says the DTRLs don't light up directly in front of the vehicle well enough, and he doesn't want to turn the headlights on for certain things, just a little maneuvering light in front (longer story than I care to type). I guess he's looking at these:
    http://www.ruggedridge.com/3-inch-s...15209-03.html#product_tabs_description_tabbed
Anyone used that brand or heard of it? I know there's a lot of LED talk on here, but being poor I usually don't pay too close attention. :D

    Anyway, thoughts, suggestions?

dont get a wireless back up system. they are horrible. get a wired camera, you will be much better off. sure install is a little longer, but you will save rage when the wireless gets too much interference.

as far as led lights go, their are a few different types. some use the epistar chips and are not as bright (the super cheap ones) some use cree leds, but not the t6 xml chips. thats where the price comes into play. xml2 chips will be found in the more expensive lights.
