Hey I'm back aren't I? No ragrets! Only have about $200 left on my student loans thanks to that little maneuver.

    Maybe I'll try the Amsoil.

All I know is I'm sometimes stuck at a green light trying to get the fawking thing in 1st gear.

Yup. The cold is what made me change it to synthetic originally.

And for awhile I had no problem with the Redline MT90 in the cold but now it's getting bad. Have to change it out before winter comes.

I was just speaking generally. I know which side of the... discussion you were on. :) In my original degree field there was this 'political' cartoon in one of my books that always stuck with me. "The difference between a conservationist and a preservationist is that a conservationist wants a cabin in the woods, while the preservationist already has one." ;)
What, CO schools weren't good enough for you? :D I think everyone who can does that no matter what state they end up in, since most universities give discounted tuition to residents. Now, the way people go about 'getting' residency on the other hand... My whole college experience just kind of evolved organically. My father worked(s) at the university I attended, in the college I ended up majoring in. I don't know if growing up there was the main reason I liked the field or just a big contributing factor. But the fact it was a good (nationally ranked) program and the automatic half-ride scholarship for family of employees... Let's just say there wasn't a lot of 'searching and applying' for me.

Yeah I hear you. My two deciding factors on where I went to school were 1) it was near a beach and 2) it was a top 5 public school in my field (there was no way I was paying for private school). Sadly it was probably in that order too. 18 year old me wasn't the brightest or most forward thinking.

    Does double clutching work?
Is it possible your clutch isn't disengaging enough?

Good part is if it goes south you might be in the running for thread of the year! :D

TW'r orders, vendor doesn't respond, TW'r creates thread, lots of popcorn eating, mods step in, dancing lock gifs, conspiracy theories, jberry uses his ninja skills to drop juicy information on vendor bombs, more popcorn, and then banning :D

I honestly don't know enough about clutches but I told Leo that it seems like my clutch isn't disengaging sometimes. But there's not grinding whatsoever. Sometimes it just feels like the throw into 1st is completely blocked. And if I try to put it into any other gear then try 1st again, those gears are really tight and jammed up.

Sorry for the horrible explanation

Your clutch felt like mine did when Brian said it was going out and might make it through Moab.

I'd work on getting a new clutch in there before I would worry about anything.
