Re-gripped my golf clubs tonight. First time. Old ones were 19 years old. Hopefully these last at least 1/2 that long! Oh, and changed transmission fluid in the Taco too.

 

That's a helluva glare because the car looks more like a Porsche Cayenne Turbo to me

Oh and here's the recovery shenanigans that I decided against attending.

The chevy was not part of the recovery, not sure how it ended up there though.




And my relocated light bar works much better now, throws hardly any glare on the hood. Slight whistle to it though.

 

Never thought I'd have to resort to this.

That was from Green Ridge. A trail that normally caters to smallish 4x4's and guarantee's a mud bath of sorts.
I wish I would have gotten a pic of the two hunters that cruised on back there in a 2015 4 door long bed Tundra. Bone stock. They asked if they would make it to the end, I described the narrowness of the trail and pointed out my own dents, they continued on. Respect.
Yes, Tundra's can be wheeled.

 

Heading down to Portland today. Scored a hell of a deal on a CVT from another member

 

Sliders are off and ready for sanding and paint, so they can be welded up instead of bolted. The Tacos bottom looks so nekid without them!

 

In bend, ironic. We seriously could not find a single place to camp, and I wasn't going to pay for a motel just so I could sleep.

Is Jack gonna weld them up for you??
I was gonna have him weld mine up, way to much flex bolted on makes me nervous
I should of just went with weld on in the beginning
But no I didn't listen

I never drilled the bottom holes in the frame because I struggled with the thought of doing that, so they are way more prone to flex. I should have done the same and just got weld ons from the get go. I wanted the flexibility to remove them, but had I ever come down hard enough I guess I would have needed to remove them to fix the body

 

I'll also be in Portland today.

 

I just got here. Waiting on the dude to get the tent. I'm in the Northwest side in Slabtown.
