    hey by the way, how comfortabel are you with circuitry stuff, those heated seats controlers are an odd set up and i want to get that relocated here soon so i can use them for this "snow" we will be getting here some day

    the switches in the over head, i thought the switch for high low was just an on off on switch but it is not or i have something some where screwed up but if you can look at the board at some point and see what goes where and why and all that then that would be awesome. @mountainmonkey tried looking at it but...... yah we need some one comfortable with circuits to look at it

    I told you back then that wiring a switch in parallel with another switch was a bad idea but I guess you didn't believe me???? Electricity takes the path of least resistance. Let me ask you this, maybe it'll make you see how it's a bad idea. What position do you leave the stock switch in and expect the added switch to function properly? If you're going to add the switch in parallel you'll have to remove the selector portion of the stock switch I think.

    If you leave it in off then that switch is not connecting anything and you can solder a second switch into the onther side and it will be on its own. If you have the stock switch on anything other then off then i can see the argument.
