Jesus' very hands crafted it out of virgin seal skin. Feels rough to the touch.

Haha, its from Otterbox? From Amazon? Probably made in China?

    Oh, no idea.

I've just never seen the point of buying a thin phone and putting a huge case on it. I usually do fine with one of those $7 plastic skins and a screen protector. This one looked smaller in the pictures. Not sure if it'll last very long. Its not a waterproof one yet it has an annoying cover over the usb port for some reason.

Yea depending on there model, there tough though. I've only had life proof on my iPhones and they've been good to me. Water proof mostly.. but I've been happy

LG G4... had a G3, which I bent, and Assurion shipped me 3 crappy refurbished ones, each had their own problems and they were out so they sent a refurb G4... which seems to work.

Ah ok. The Otter box commuter is the one I just had on mine. Like ^^^ said. Slimmer and definitely did its job. Held up for two years. Just upgraded phones and got a Pelican case "Protector". Thoroughly impressed and backed by a lifetime warranty as well

Never had a case and never broke a phone. Except the one I had sitting in coke. All HTC's. This new G5 is GARBAGE!

I'll add that I drop my phone multiple times a month.

I've always had the thin cases... which basically just keep the edges from getting chipped up when dropped. I always drop/get phones wet and never had an issue until I bent it.

How much slimmer is the commuter than the defender? Maybe I'll try that. I got the Defender, and shes hefty.

I use the tempered glass screen protectors and that's all I've needed. Yes my phones has chips and stuff but works good.
