I'm honestly really not sure, I noticed it when I went to back out of my driveway this morning- I had the same issue I (@BDN) diagnosed last week as a frozen parking brake, but when I backed out of the driveway it felt like the brake released but I couldn't go anywhere. Got out to look around and found that on the passenger side. Luckily I was able to get up to Toytec and they hooked me up with a new one. It looks like it bent to almost 90* before it snapped.

Less than 10k... I put them on at 17k and I'm just under 26k now. I was hoping they would be replaced under warranty since it's been less than a year too but apparently Bilstein doesn't warranty snapped shocks. The guys at Toytec still got me a good deal on a new one so it worked out as well as I could have hoped I suppose.
