Been there. done that. twice.
I feel your pain man. loaded up with morphine I still one that it really really hurt, I just didn't care any more

 

I had the pain for about 2 1/2 hours total. Due to the snow day I was lucky enough to not get to the hospital before the pain went down to where I didn't/could use any meds. I'm usually a suffer through it kinda guy though it someone would have offered me some meds while the pain was there I would have taken them. I'm really glad I opted for the money saving ride and they didn't call 911 on me.

 

I'm sure I'll get the lowdown on what to do/eat here soon. I didn't call the doctors today because I just went home and slept.

 

Everyone thinks it's pissing them out that hurts your pee pee.
It's actually passing them from your kidney to your bladder through a much smaller pipe.

They were talking to me about how the pain is from the urine backing up and causing swelling in that passage and how that little bastard could get stuck multiple times on the way to the bladder.

 

I'm going to start eating a shit ton of potassium.

I was just told the same thing, only the pain goes away in a couple hours compared to 18 years........

 

I'm in pain just thinking about it.
