Now I'm not ASE-certified, but I suspect that walking there to get an alignment defeats the purpose.

Guess it depends on how well they align it.

I'm down here in Tucson on a little training mission. 70 degrees feels like 150 right now
Flew on this bad boy down here while the AF did their combat dive to simulate landing into a combat zone under fire. It was quite intense since the plane basically corkscrews to land plus there's no windows to look through you're not sure when you're about to land.. then BAM you hit haha

That's one way to put it. Corkscrew.... I know the feeling in a CH46. All of us locked and loaded. The mission was to off load a plane with a forklift and onload a CH53. As soon as we landed the grunts ran out and set a perimeter and I was right behind running to a forklift. Loaded the bird and got the fuck out of there. It was a hot zone but luckily no rounds where fired. It's an eye opener when they land like that. Shit gets real, real quick.

That's exactly what happened haha. They told us there was gonna be a touch and go is all. Then I felt all funny like we were about to go upside down then slammed down. I thought we crashed haha
Though yeah in country I couldn't imagine. I'll pass

Whats worse was I was in the center seats. I dont know if youve ever ridden a c-17 in the center isle, they slide back and forth about 6 inches. So when the plane drops and you slam back in your seat and then your entire seat slams back that far, Im going to hell for those 5 minutes of expletives right there.

as a testament to how hungover i was yesterday, i didnt get on TW once. in fact, i didnt even boot my computer and im an avid gamer.

Apparently when you get a bunch(~150) of boozers together for a party in a distillery, SHTF.

I'm really excited for Friday... 3-5" forecast so far. I'm hoping this is the one, where it'll end up being 3-5 feet. :burnrubber: I wonder if the second winter on the Duratracs they will still have that last second pull into snow banks like last year. :anonymous:

Not so thrilled about saturday, when the high is supposed to be 9.
