Have you seen Evolution well services? All electric fleet, that's way cool. If I do it, I'd like to get back down to the DJ. Did my time in the Bakken, prefer not to do that again, too cold. I got some old contacts that are running crews out of Cheyenne right now, so that's on my list.

More of a weather thing I think. Plus Odessa has had O&G for a long time so not a Boom town like Williston was.

Jet engines are pretty fucking loud! Plus they aren't very efficient as they are turning mechanical energy to electrical back to mechanical. I think the innovation is pretty awesome but high voltage on a soggy pad is some scary shit!

We have 4 crews in DJ now and will be up to 6 or 7 by the end of the year. If you wanted to come down, now would be the time IMO.

I love it up there and was born in Minot. Someday I'll return to the motherland to die.

I agree with you about the boom, although ND has had oil for a while (booms in the 50s and 80s IIRC). Nothing like Texas, though.

Yeah I was talking to a couple people, and they were pretty confident that the spring was going to bring great things for business, now just to get the wife talked into moving, that's going to be the hard part.

It's a great place to live, I like it here, I just don't want to commute for work, if I go back to the patch.
