Why can't you use the 4 season tent? I use mine in the summer. I have 2 single wall Black Diamonds and can control the temp pretty good in them. I use mine in Moab with no problems

 

Just look on craigslist as there may be your exact set..and list em lower than the lowest price or if they are in better condition raise it a little..but it's the market and what is also available. I sold my wheelset in a day because I found the lowest price and went lower. Sometimes not worth sitting on something for a long period for the extra fifty bucks or whatever..

 

He is still trying to figure out what 4 season means.

 

It's especially bad in the winter. We went up in a 4wd vehicle and was still sliding around. Heading out we passed numerous cars going up that had no business doing so. Idiots.

 

I certainly could. But it takes a bit more time to setup vs a hammock or one of my other tents. And if it's warm enough for something quicker and easier...

Not to mention, some Moab areas are more difficult to set the anchors than others and the 4 season needs a ton of them.

 

I'm still waiting for the 4th season to happen!

 

My hammock takes at least 10x longer to set up properly than my Bibler 4-season tent. The latter is literally two poles.

 

Socket holder update. No invoice from them yet, said that they were waiting for the paypal to clear and that they should ship last friday. Emailed them last night regarding if they shipped or not and ill let you know when i hear back from them.

 

I could forgo the fly if it wasn't going to be too cold, but the most time consuming thing would still be anchoring it into rock.

While the hammock takes all of a minute to setup and take down.
