Instagram is chock-full of "Lady Jeepers" with JKs plastered in stickers and lightbars, with a half dozen pics of them driving down a hill on their one trail trip. It's the mid size equivalent of the brodozer.

 

Id rather have them in the mall parking lots than clogging up the backcountry. Hell, we should be encouraging people to never go 4wheelling as it will damage their stuff.

Granted I haven't been there in 12 to 15 years but there used to be a sign there.

The log has been there since I was a wee little kid. I made the trek to the lake for the first time perched on my daddy's shoulders.
There are pics of my idiot uncle standing on that log too. The sign, or one like it, was there then as well.

When we were looking for winter pictures of it, we came across this picture.. Hadn't seen it before.

 

I've only been up maybe 3-4 times. Twice I'm sure I was too little to remember if there was a sign. The last two times I know for a fact there was no sign and I'm sure I can find pictures to prove it. Although the last time was probably 4-5 years ago. Off to find evidence.
