I'm kind of going through this right now. I am trying to get off of soda not because of the caffeine (although that would be a nice benefit) but mostly because of all the sugar. I'm not having too terrible a time with feeling bad or anything, probably because I wasnt a super heavy soda drinker anyway, but I am finding it hard to kick the addiction to the taste. Damnit if that stuff doesnt taste delicious. Anyone else deal with that or am I just a crazy person? Or both?

I liked the taste too, sugar and caffeine together. a can of coke has about 10 teaspoons of sugar per 12oz can. :goingcrazy::boom:

why I used the tea since it has like 8 teaspoons than backed off of drinking it and switched to homemade stuff where I can control the taste and back off slowly.

my weakness is Dr. Pepper. I swear they put some type of addiction substance to make you want it. Today I told a girl at my work if I could just smell her Dr Pepper since I am trying to quit it.

I'd rather shoot myself in the face with a shotgun than give up coffee.

I can get by without the caffeine 95% of the time. But even without the chemical addiction, I'm nuts about the taste of hot, black coffee with cinammon and 1 tbsp of sugar. It's perfect. Decaf works well enough for the taste, but one tired day before the weight room and I'm right back to boosting with caffeine.

Looks like I'm gonna get another opportunity to come home again within the next couple months. Not sure how long I'll have but likely won't have a ton of free time.

Replacing a headlight assembly on a Prius requires removing the front bumper.

    Awesome sauce.

Looking at @Star-Lord 's picture, that's definitely a classic sign that's been around a while. But I have only the vaguest memories of seeing it in my earlier visits and would not have disobeyed it had it been there. I have been out on the log on at least one more recent visit, and there was no sign at the time (even waited my 'turn' and I only stay long enough to get the particular picture I'm after, unlike people who set up and have lunch right at the base of a falls so they're in everybody's way). But over the years as I've visited Hanging Lake, I have definitely noticed the increase in people (expansion of parking lot was probably a mistake), the increase in signs, and the increase in people who are the reasons for said signs. Trash left laying around, dogs on the trail despite the three signs on the way up clearly prohibiting dogs, people clearly not prepared for the level of effort required to get up there... Which is ironic, since the fact that it's so close and 'easy' to get to and so spectacular is one of the reasons it's getting ruined/over-visited.
