Actually, no. You need to drive the posted speed limit. You are not allowed to dictate how fast everybody behind you drives. You can and will get a ticket for impeding the flow of traffic.

 

If only it were easier for LEOs to observe and enforce. Someone needs to make a camera system for such infractions! Screw the speed cameras... Let's target the cause of a lot of traffic, crashes and road rage instead.

 

It's also dangerous and against the law to intentionally impede the flow of traffic.

That sign isn't just a high speed limit, it's also a minimum speed limit.

If only. From delivering I could easily say the worst things are:
1. Everyone thinking its okay to merge onto the highway at 30mph.
2. People who are too busy on their phone to realize the light is green.
3. And my favorite, people who get over into the left lane OR stay in the left lane even though you've just been aggressively passed by half of the line you're holding up behind you. HOW ARE YOU NOT GETTING IT!?

 

A girl in a Neon pulled right out in front of me today. She was going, on average, 10 miles under the speed limit. She didn't move when the light turned green (or at least until I smashed on the horn). She merged on to the highway very slowly. Without a blinker, she swooped into the left lane in front of oncoming traffic and just creeped. I gave her a thumbs up with my middle finger. Neither she nor her friend looked over...they were oblivious. I'm pretty sure that they were smoking weed. Medicinally, of course.

 

I can't even tell you how many times a day I saw this when I was driving full time for work.

 

Tried to send "SCIENCE" in a text.

Phone auto-corrected to "SPERMS".

The booze must be seeping through my fingers into the phone.
