Where will you be working? I live very close to GVR (Yeah. I'm that lazy.)...essentially across the street. Not bad, but it is a jaunt to downtown Denver/mountains. A shit-ton of construction slows things to a crawl around here and it will only get worse. When I70 (our east/west interstate) widening construction begins, we may never be able to leave. There is a lot of housing out here but it's getting snatched up quickly. Schooling is somewhat sparse. We tend to get a lot of hail, tornadoes/funnel clouds, and blizzard conditions as we are in Little Kansas. There is also aircraft noise but as far as I'm considered it's not bad. There are some relatively bad areas around here and some shenanigans do bleed into GVR (most notably a carjacking in late 2016). It is up and coming, though. We even have a commuter train that sometimes works (gambling is fun!). If you move to GVR and give it some time and patience it will likely pay off.

Supposedly our mayor lives in Green Valley Ranch if for some reason that motivates you.

    Alright, dammit!

Jake and I made the call to wait on the sliders and my bumper.

Yes. You heard right! The sliders are gonna stay safe in the loving embrace of Jake's driveway until I get my body lift from @Squeaky Penguin installed.

    Let that sink in...

    Sliders.

    Waiting on a body lift.

My office is on 16th st downtown. So I will be stuck with a commoute no matter what. There seems to be alot of rentals in that area so that's why I ask. No real need for schooling, it will be just my firlgfriend, myself, and the dog.

I noticed that tonight as I was driving that it would probably be Tornado area, after a summer in okc after two F5 tornados I can do without those. Aircraft really wouldn't bug me.

    Appreciate the info!!

Yeah, I've really only experienced FNothing tornadoes out here. I work downtown off of 16th, as well. I would say you're looking at about an hour or so on a good day for the commute. When it snows, allow yourself more time. It's almost comical the way people drive in the white stuff. I wish you luck!

Appreciate the help! If I end up in that area we will have to meet. I don't have my 4runner anymore so always looking for an excuse to wrench on something.

It's pretty sad how people drive here in general. I damn near died driving back up north from Jake's tonight.
