I'm recalling severe hail here less than a year ago, and it's causing pre-diabetic nerve pain. I'm going to ask my Doctor if Lyrica is right for me.

On a more serious note, meet me under the blanket?

I've thought about hand laying my own track, also involves cutting each tie...very meticulous.
I may do this for a short section, like a side track, just to say, yeah, i laid that.

I do. I grew up in Indiana before they switched over to EST, back when they had their own time zone. DST was just something the crazy rest of the county worried about.

I hate DST, but spring more so than fall. It's too early to go to bed. It's too early to get up. Sucks even more because I'm naturally a night-owl. And I'll say it again like I did five months ago - we're now on DST more of the year than we're on 'regular' time, so... just fucking change the time permanently?

We had a tire patched in Vernal, and due to a variety of reasons I was checking them all in the parking lot afterward. Guy came out and asked if something was wrong, I told him no, I just wanted to make sure I was even all the way around, and that one of the ones they'd done something with was way off from the others. He told me it was probably because the built-in gauge on the filler didn't match the other gauge used... or something along that lines - basically that the last one filled was never double checked, so it read whatever the one gauge said, which was why all the others matched and it didn't.

I always check all mine, if I don't outright tell them not to screw with the air pressure up front. But that's mostly because when running a non-standard size, they either a) put in what's on the door which is completely wrong or b) air it up to like 40 or so 'because people like the way it rides better than using the door number'. Note that's people who don't specifically ask for that pressure, just what they get the most compliments or least complaints about. Everywhere I've been (dealer, tire store, etc.) have said this, and they always overinflate the tire 'because it handles better'.

    My story on gauges: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/colorado-b-s-thread.131441/page-5154#post-13538348
I do not mention the one built into my ARB deflator like someone in a later post from where I'm at in catching up may have. However when I do use that, I make sure to follow the instructions about sealing it off to actually check the pressure, not relying on the gauge while in deflate/open mode. I don't trust the one on the compressor at all, beyond I go 5 over what I want and back it down however much I need to... and check it a day later because it's still off. I would like to calibrate/check them so I know what the real number is, which gauge is closest and all, but like's been said, if I get it where I want it, as long as it's the same gauge it should be fine right?

It was 95 today in LA. Quite the difference from when I left Denver at 8am. It's much more pleasant up here in solvang.

I was driving home from work and had the cruise control set at 80 and a smart car passed me like I was standing still...had to be close to 90 and people say I'm putting lives in danger driving without a sway bar :notsure:
