    What hasn't been modified?
    How so?
I know mine dropped right in and that's where it's been sitting since I got the bracket

Based on the location of the rust you might have qualified for a frame replacement from Toyota but I believe the time frame on that has passed unfortunately.

I would call up Toytec Lifts to get dialed in on everything you need for your suspension lift. They are a Colorado company and are always very helpful. Dial extension 103 and talk with David.

I thought so too, but apparently this issue won't die. I got a card in the mail a few weeks ago about a class action notification being filed out of CA, of which I would be a member of. Since a) I've already had the inspection and b) I still wouldn't qualify anyway, I just threw it out. But one might go searching for that to sign up to be part of said class if they wanted to try it. It was definitely different than the official Toyota recall, because the dates were new/longer. Something tells me all the dates are just to stagger/delay replacement. I mean even as this was becoming an issue on 2nd gens, they were still replacing first gen frames... Lawyers.

It's way easy. Start by supporting the truck with a jack stand.
    Remove the tire.
    Take a picture for reference.
Remove the retaining wire that holds the rods for the pads.
    Remove the rods.
    Remove the pads.
Remove the two bolts on the back of the caliper.
gently hang caliper off to the side, preferably not hanging from the brake line itself.
Pull the rotor off. Might have to smack it at least once. Might just fall right off.
Put the new rotor on, paying attention to direction of rotation.

    Put your shit back together.
You will need a "C" clamp to push the pistons back in the caliper, gently, use the old pads to press against, do not place the C clamp directly on the pistons..
Torque the caliper back down, replace the pins, wire, tire etc..
    Drink beer.
At least that's the 1st gen steps.

I've started and I'll use this as reference. If I die it's on you.

Step #3, the picture, is key to this operation. :D
And maybe having the right sockets, torx head crap, allen stuffs, etc..
I've never seen a 3rd gen, but can't imagine they are too much more difficult.

    Last minute, as in NOW..

If anyone wants to ride along on a recovery in the Idaho springs area. I may be leading it shortly.

Jeep Rubicon about to roll. You'd need to meet up in Idaho springs.

So finally got a chance to see some CO area besides the patch and Denver. Hit up Copper Mtn for some boarding. Super hot yesterday but a pretty drive out there and a cool area.

Looking forward to actually getting some exploring in.
