    Today is an F5 day...

    New form of lottery: find old junk in your attic/basement/garage. Keep an eye on new movies, particularly period pieces, that feature said old junk. Or better yet, convince some movie maker to actively place it in there for you. Give it a couple of months after release and watch that shit you couldn't give away on craigslist start a bidding war on ebay.

    What do you suppose will happen to the price of that football game thing (I think it is) he's using in the previews, if it hasn't already.

    Stranger Things was something of a mind trip for me. Think about it - you're getting kids today who have no concept of a world without cell phones, to play kids back in the late 70s/80s and talk/argue about and be up on toys, games, movies, music, and all sorts of other pop culture from that period a lot of which didn't survive into this decade as anything more than an 'I remember when I was a kid...'

    Shortly after my divorce, just a few short years ago, I cleaned house. Chucked numerous VHS originals of Disney films.
    Beauty and the Beast was one of those. In pristine condition too.
