I use them pm me if you want to come borrow the tool. When setup correctly they connect only the correct way and are convenient if you need to connect or disconnect frequently.
they have larger capacity connectors but they get too big for RC space constraints...Deans for RC is my preference but i do like the Anderson powerpoles in the truck for most my applications.

That Tundra came with C rated Duratracs, about 1/3 of the tread left. Roughest riding tire I have ever rolled around on, was thinking what the fuck is everybody smoking that they rave about these pieces of shit. The E rated Coopers rode much better.
Checked the air and they were resting at 52 psi. All 4. Spare was at 48.

Sticker on the door plainly says 29F/30R

They are amazingly similar to the 1st gen Tacoma underneath, just a little more room to turn a wrench.

Sounds about right... People blaming the tire/vehicle/brand when it's the user. Same with "weak" sidewalls... It's a driver issue.

No, I've seen the zipper like effect on these tires. They really do have crappy sidewalls.

You're getting kind of surly there dude, you should take a vacation or something. :cookiemonster:

    @thefatkid
Is there any way to tell, besides the sticker, which is not there, if the timing belt has been changed?
It's at 140,656 miles, I understand they need changed at 90k, so it's either long overdue or good to go for a bit.
Also, is this a non interference engine?

What else should be replaced along with the belt? Water pump I assume.

try this website. if it has had it done at a dealer, it should have it listed under the maintenance records

When the timing belt was done on my taco they wrote the mileage on the engine just below "3400 Four Cam 24" with a paint pen.

    What year?

You can pull one of the upper covers to inspect the belt condition.

At least you've seen it, 99% of others just have heard about it from their cousins uncle who knew a guy.

Some people do "off roading" by smashing their way through. Those people are the ones who need 1/2" steel skids and combat rated tires.

Based on the fact that I ran stock tires for a good 8 months offroad and stock aluminum foil skids for two years, I'm not sure how I'm still alive with the internet Bros who said i wouldn't make it. :crapstorm:

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I went to Pederson, they ran the vin. Truck was originally from South Carolina. Belt was done at 105k in New England.
It has a very extensive service and maintenance record. Plus a lca was replaced at one point.
I guess I can drive it with no worries for now.
These tires still suck BTW. You can feel every lug. Swamper was never that bad. :)

It's been running synthetic oil too, which was good to find out. I'll keep it that way.
On another note it uses the same oil filter as the 3.4
    Winning.

I think it's just called something different. :drunk:

I don't intentionally ruin or damage the truck, which seems to be the goal of some people. There is no right or wrong way, just different ways of off roading, until you're ruining the trail. I just don't get into the "bragging rights for breaking stuff" mindset.

    You sound like me.

BTW are you going to the next toytec/my going away party? I'm thinking about camping up in your neck of the woods after that for a day or two as I begin the expedition.

Where exactly are you going on your expedition? Time frame? I peeped your build but only saw a list of national parks.
