When I was driving 300 miles a day for work I would see this all the time. And my wife wondered why I came home homicidal everyday.

Just throwing a feeler out there - I just found out we're going to have to drive to Portland for a funeral. I want to take the truck with the RTT so that we can stop halfway and sleep for a bit. But the RTT is on the topper and my mileage is terrible. Does anyone have some bed bars/a bed rack laying around that they would be willing to let me borrow for the trip? We'll be coming back next Wednesday.

I know it's short notice as we're leaving tomorrow night, but figure it's worth a shot.

Their SST trans had some issues. Slapping, grinding, complete failure just to name a few. I would rather stick to the 5 speed and unmolested 4g63t to make it a straight up beast bored out to a 2.3 stroker with forced performance red turbo, GFB BOV, new waste gate, AMS FMIC with solid piping, and while we are at it a full tune from AMS.:jerkoff:

Sadly drivers like that own all makes and models, not just Subaru. They need to make the written and physical driving tests about 20x harder and make people work for the privilege of driving these days.

    I love my Subaru.

I also know how to drive.

    Weird.

I agree. And for the most part I think the Subaru is a great vehicle. I owned one in my early 20's. (that would be the late 80's for you youngsters.) Total no frills piece of shit too. Drove the hell out of it.
Blood pressure just happens to boil over at the very sight of them though as they are the most proliferant offenders on the road. They are marketed to a particular group. Because the car is made with love.
Now, if I see a wrx with a bit of bling, I might get behind that guy as opposed to the chrysler minivan in the next lane.

I could've bought a WRX (I've owned a 2005 STI) but instead we purchased a 17' Focus ST. It's basically everything I wanted in a car when I was a teenager. It'll spin the tires in 2nd, and with the ESC on it has some torque steer. With the ESC in "Sport" mode, the torque steer is manageable and fun.

if it makes you feel any better, I've seen Tacoma's doing the same thing. All gens.
    But mostly subaru.
I don't think you bought your subaru because it was made with love. But I could be wrong, not judging. :D

In reality, it's probably mostly the female drivers. But I would never say that.
