Here's my property line. My grass is not perfect this year but it's getting better as it's getting warmer.

All of this talk about housing makes me feel a little better inside knowing I'm still renting. I may be paying out the ass for an overpriced condo that is attached to 4 additional homes, but I'm not tied to a location and/or massive loan....

...except for my student loans. :bananadead:

    Some solid points your making.

Lol I feel the same. I was trying to get out of my rental to buy a place since my life situation has changed recently and I am paying a metric fuckton of cash for the rental that I don't need. Just gotta attempt to keep saving what I can and find a better place next year and keep waiting for the bubble to break.

Stick with ktm. Looking at 2011-2014 250 xc. Specific parameters make it a difficult search. I'd get a 300, but not willing to pay $500-100 more for basically the same motor.

Yeah. Found one in WY, but I doubt he'll drop on price.

Don't think it'll be a huge bubble... Maybe just a little down slope. But no reason to buy into the hype and spend more than you want on something that isn't everything you want just because your realtor says "buy now or you'll never get into a house".

Not that a realtor would ever say that.

All this talk makes me glad I bought in 2012. Seems like it was pretty much the perfect time around here. Right when things started to turn around after the crash of 2008/2009.

Hmmm, better sell my shack before prices start to drop. :spy:
All this is truly happening at the right time for me. I want to retire. I have enough to get by on meager savings and the profit from the sale of my house and business, bikes, all the toys, etc... for 15 years. As long as I am no longer paying rent or utilities.
Then start to collect retirement at age 65, which has amounted to a substantial monthly amount. And I can always work part time/odd jobs when I need to.
The gamble is, do I stay another year and increase the house value while paying it down some more, or get the hell out now before the market drops.
Have you guys ever wondered why I keep posting the pop up camper links? It's not just to bust Brandon's balls :D
The newish Tundra...still working out the logistics of possibly going full turtle.

A conversation with my elderly neighbors several months ago started this thought process. They are both recently retired, in their late 60's, worked for Larimer county and one is battling cancer, the other old age issues.
They made the comment, as so many have before them, that retirement comes too late in life and you basically just wait to die. I don't want to do that.
